چکیده
Wheeler's delayed-choice experiment delays the decision to observe either wave or particle behavior of a photon until after it has entered interferometer, and quantum provides possibility observing simultaneously by introducing control device. We here propose modified without entanglement assistance, in which can be prepared wave-particle superposition state morphing wave-to-particle transition observed easily. It is demonstrated that presented scheme allow us rule out classical hidden variable models device-independent manner via violating dimension witness. also extend situation two degrees freedom, first constructing hybrid enables simultaneous observation photon's behaviors different then proposing prepare single-photon entanglement. This study not only meaningful explore properties photons, but potential for research single-particle nonlocality from perspective degree freedom.

A quantum delayed-choice experiment.
Quantum systems exhibit particle- or wavelike behavior depending on the experimental apparatus they are confronted by. This wave-particle duality is at the heart of quantum mechanics. Its paradoxical nature is best captured in the delayed-choice thought experiment, in which a photon is forced to choose a behavior before the observer decides what to measure. Here, we report on a quantum delayed-...

Wave-particle complementarity is one of the most intriguing features of quantum physics. To emphasize this measurement apparatus-dependent nature, experiments have been performed in which the output beam splitter of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer is inserted or removed after a photon has already entered the device. A recent extension suggested using a quantum beam splitter at the interferometer'...
متن کاملQuantum computing without entanglement
It is generally believed that entanglement is essential for quantum computing. We present here a few simple examples in which quantum computing without entanglement is better than anything classically achievable, in terms of the reliability of the outcome after a fixed number of oracle calls. Using a separable (that is, unentangled) n-qubit state, we show that the Deutsch-Jozsa problem and the ...
